Mrs. Millar moved here from Southern California in 1991. She taught Middle School and worked as a actress there for eight years, but decided that she wanted to raise her children here. Mrs. Millar taught for a half a year in Cranberry, then was fortunate to get a job at Titusville Area School District. She has been teaching English at the Titusville Senior High School for 21 years. She also has directed the junior/senior class play and the all-school musical. She is the advisor for the drama club. Mrs. Millar has been student council advisor and developed a PE readiness curriculum in her classroom.
Mrs. Millar has never stopped performing and is active with Titusville Summer Theater, Franklin Barrow Civic, and jobs here and there in New York City on game shows and talk shows. Mrs. Millar has published 10 one-act plays and a curriculum for teaching drama in the English class. She continues to write plays for the students to use free of charge at school. She received her bachelor's degree from Clarion University and her master's equivalency from California State University San Bernardino. Mrs. Millar also teaches theatre performance at University of Pittsburgh at Titusville from time to time.
Mrs. Millar has two daughters that are grown now and her and her husband, Tom, are very proud of them. She also has a grandson who has added an unbelievably wonderful dimension to her life.
