Mrs. Amy Atkins graduated from Titusville High School in 2006. She then graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clarion University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Mrs. Atkins also earned her certification in Middle Level English and Mathematics Education. After graduation, she taught 5th grade in Stafford, Virginia, then moved back to the Titusville area after getting married. Amy has been employed at the Titusville YMCA Education Center as a kindergarten teacher and had the opportunity to substitute teach in Titusville School District. She is now pursuing her Master's degree in Special Education. Currently she is teaching at Hydetown Elementary School.  In her free time she likes to spend time with family, scrapbook and attends Penn State football games.

Mrs. Linda Becker has worked for the Titusville Area School District full-time since 2004, at various buildings, as a educational/Title 1 Aide.  She and her family moved to the area after her husbands retirement from the U.S. Air Force.  She is the mother of two TASD graduated and the proud grandma of three future graduates.

Mrs. Blakeslee is a Learning Support Teacher at Hydetown Elementary School. She was hired with the Titusville School District in 2002. She graduated from Mercyhurst College with a dual certification in Elementary and Special Education. She also earned her Master’s Degree in Reading from Walden University. She serves on the Hydetown ESAP (Elementary Student Assistant Program) Team and SWPBIS (School Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) Team. She enjoys spending time with her two children and husband.

Prior to being hired as Hydetown's office secretary in 2015, Cathy substituted in many of the district's other offices as well and spent many years working at the Titusville Area Hospital. She and her husband Rob reside in Pleasantville.

Beth Butryn is a teacher at Hydetown Elementary School. She graduated from Clarion University in 1987. She began working for the Titusville School District in 1988. She started her career teaching one year of pre-school at Pleasantville and Main Street. Then she moved on to teach sixth grade at the old Junior High for two years. Since then she has been in her current position. In addition to her regular teaching duties, Ms. Butryn also coordinates the annual school wide track and field day and is the yearbook advisor.
Outside of school, Ms. Butryn has many hobbies and activities to keep her busy. Her favorite activity is camping with her family and friends. In the summer she also loves to golf and garden. In the winter she takes part in two bowling leagues. Other past time activities include reading, watching sports, and just spending time with her loved ones.

Stephanie Cicero was hired at the Titusville Area School District in 2012.  She currently teaches elementary general music and fifth grade instrumental band.  Stephanie graduated Summa cum Laude from Slippery Rock University in 2012 with a degree in Music Education/Percussion.  She earned a Master’s Degree in Music Education with a focus in General Music/Instrumental Music from Kent State University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.  In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Stephanie is the middle school musical director and is an assistant director with the ”Rocket” high school marching band.

Megan Crocker is a facilitator at Hydetown Elementary School. She began her career at Main Street Elementary School in 1999. She has taught second and third grade. Megan graduated from Danville Area High School in Danville, PA in 1995. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Juniata College in 1999. In 2004, she earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon College. She lives in Hydetown with her husband Matt and their two daughters. In her spare time, Megan likes to run, scrapbook, and play with her girls!

Mrs. Culbertson has been teaching at Hydetown Elementary School for the past 10 years. She has also worked at Pleasantville Elementary and Titusville Middle School. She attended Edinboro University where she received her certification in Elementary Education with a Master’s Degree in Special Education. In the past she has been a member of the EASP team, was a learning support teacher at both the elementary and middle school level, and taught in a multi-age classroom.

Mrs. Beth Dunning has worked for Titusville Area School District since 1999 as an educational aide. In 2000, she was hired as a full-time Learning Support educational aide at Hydetown elementary. 
Mrs. Dunning has lived overseas for a few years in Japan and Germany when her husband was serving in the Air Force. Mrs. Dunning enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also teaches Sunday school at a small church and loves it.

Mrs. Elan was born and raised in Titusville, and she graduated from Titusville High School. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Grove City College. Nicole later earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education, with a focus on literacy, from Walden University. Mrs. Elan taught for one year in North Carolina before returning to the Titusville Area School District. In Titusville, she has been a first, third, and fourth grade teacher. Nicole has been teaching full-time since 1998, with 17 years spent at Hydetown Elementary School. Mrs. Elan currently is a first grade teacher at Main Street Elementary School, joining the faculty and staff there for the 2015-16 school year. Nicole resides in Titusville with her husband, three children, and the family dog, and in her spare time she likes to read and kayak.

Mrs. Feiereisen is a THS graduate and an Edinboro University graduate with a degree in Art K-12 and a minor in special education.  Prior to her hiring as our new elementary art teacher, she was a substitute teacher for the district for the past several years and also worked with the YMCA's 21st Century After School Learning Program as the lead second grade teacher.  In addition she has taught lessons at the Erie Art Museum and was awarded an academic achievement award at Edinboro. She also participated in the NAEA organization.  Mrs. Feireisen and her husband Erik currently reside in Titusville.

Mrs. Wendy Hamilton has worked for the Titusville Area School District since 1997 as a cafeteria aide. She started at Cherrytree Elementary before transferring to Hydetown. Mrs. Hamilton is the mother of three children and in her spare time enjoys golfing with her husband and Sunday dinners with family.

Miss Hanely was hired in the district in 2016 as the Librarian for Pleasantville, Main Street, Hydetown and the ECLC.  She was born and raised in Neiltown, PA.  She attended VCHS and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science.  She is currently working on her Masters degree and has taken on the LEGO coach position at Main Street Elementary.  In her off time, she works as a climbing/COPE instructor at CTSR and volunteers at her church as a teacher and a cantor.  She also spends a good amount of time kayaking and reading.

Miss Hopwood is a 2009 graduate of Titusville High School and a 2013 graduate of Edinboro University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  She earned her Master’s degree in Reading from Edinboro University in 2016 and was hired by the district as the Title I Reading Specialist in 2016.  Having spent two years in that position, in 2018 Miss Hopwood moved into a classroom teaching position. Previously, Miss Hopwood has served as a substitute teacher in the district and taught Head Start for two years.  In her free time, Miss Hopwood enjoys walking her dog and spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Houck taught at Riverside High School and Cochranton Junior-Senior High School before joining the Titusville Area School District staff in 2003.  She taught business education at Titusville High School for 3 years, was the library media specialist at Titusville Middle School for 9 years and was the assistant principal at Titusville High School from 2015-2018. In 2018 she became the Principal at Hydetown Elementary.  
Mrs. Houck received her teaching certification through Notre Dame College of Ohio.  She earned her Master's degree from Mansfield University and her K-12 Administrative Certification from Gannon University.

Gretchen Howard graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Art History in April of 2000. She was employed as a Counselor/Advocate, working with victims of sexual and domestic violence, until earning her Masters of Social Work Degree in May of 2013 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. After becoming a Licensed Social Worker in August of 2013, Gretchen worked as a licensed therapist with a local non-profit agency until accepting the Social Worker Position with United Way of the Titusville Region and the Titusville Area School District.
Gretchen is a lifelong resident of Titusville and in her free time she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and two little boys.

Miss Kline completed her undergraduate and graduate work at Clarion University where she received her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. She started her career in the medical field providing adult speech and language therapy in rehabilitation facilities in the Altoona and Clearfield areas. Miss Kline also worked at Franklin Area School District providing services to grades K-12. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association along with the Pennsylvania Speech and Hearing Association.

Donna McAllister worked as a nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for four years before moving to Titusville. She has worked in a doctor’s office and at Titusville Area Hospital in the Cardiac Rehab Department. Mrs. McAllister started working for Titusville Area School District in 2007 as a nurse technician. In 2013 she was hired as the Elementary School Nurse for the district.

Mrs. McAllister received her BSN from IUP. She completed her certification in School Nursing from Gannon University.

Tara Nichols is the Elementary School Counselor for Grades K4-5. She is originally from Titusville, and is a 1995 graduate of Titusville High School. She attended Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania, and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Tara completed her graduate work at Westminster College, and received a Master’s Degree and Certification in Elementary School Counseling.

Tara was previously employed as a social worker by Riverview Intermediate Unit 6. She has worked in the Titusville Area School District since the implementation of the Elementary Student Assistance Program in 2004. She lives in Centerville with her husband and children.

Mrs. Peden works as a paraprofessional as a math interventionist.  Prior to working for TASD she worked for Source 4 Teachers and for many years was a X-ray technologist and CT technologist for Titusville Area Hospital, UPMC Hamot and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Miss Rescinito comes to the district from Blacksburg, VA where she worked as a school psychologist before relocating to the Grove City area. She is a graduate of Northern Cambria High School and the Universitiy of Indiana PA where she received her M. Ed. in Educational and School Psychology.  She is a member of several professional organizations including the National Association of School Psychologists; the Assoc. of School Psychologists of PA; the PA Pschycological Association; the Golden Key International Honor Society to name a few.  In addition she also teaches psychology in an online setting.

Jennifer Sampson is a facilitator at Hydetown Elementary School. She was hired by the district in 1992. She has taught at both Pleasantville and Hydetown Schools. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Clarion University. She also has her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. She serves on the SWPBIS (School Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) Team and the Hydetown ESAP (Elementary Student Assistance Program) as well. She resides in Centerville with her husband, Shawn, and their two children. Outside of school, she enjoys running, outdoor activities, and being a “Swim” Mom!

Mrs. Schwartz was hired by the district in 2018 after having been a long term sub for the district in the Gifted Program at the end of the 2017-18 school year.  She holds a PA certification in Elementary Ed K-6 and is also certified in Early Childhood Education through Edinboro University.  Previously she was employed as a substitute teacher through Kelly Educational Staffing and also worked for the TItusville YMCA's 21st Century after-school program as well as for the Titusville Regional Literacy Council.  Lisa resides in Pleasantville with her husband and daughter.

Mrs. Shaffer began full time employment with TASD in 1999 as a child specific aide. She continued to hold numerous positions both as a building and classroom aide, and spent several years in the Alternative Education classroom. Mrs. Shaffer began employment in the district's high school health office in 2010, and also spent several years at the middle school health office. Karen has worked as a health office aide for the elementary buildings before her position as positive behavior aide at Hydetown.

Mrs. Stephanie Stewart is a Team B Learning Faciltator at Hydetown Elementary School. She is a Titusville native and Titusville High School graduate. She earned Bachelor's degrees in both Early Childhood and Special Education from Clarion University in 2013. From 2013-2015, Mrs. Stewart taught Math and Science Learning Support at Titusville High school. She and her husband live in Titusville and love being in their hometown. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Stewart enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, being outdoors, and sewing.

Mr. Timon received his undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Gannon University. He later returned to school at Edinboro University for his Master’s in Educational Leadership and a Teaching Certificate in Health and Physical Education. He has begun his teaching career during the 2016-17 school year and is coaching the Girls’ Varsity Soccer Program. Mr. Timon enjoys volunteering for the Big Brother Program, playing soccer, and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Tridico has been working in the Titusville School District since 1997. Mr. Tridico graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1994. He was a member of the football team at the University of Arkansas. Mr. Tridico earned the honor of training under Mr. John Stucky who was one of the great pioneers in strength and conditioning. Mr. Tridico then completed his graduate course work in Exercise and Sport Studies at Boise State University in 1997. Mr. Tridico also was an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach under the direction of Mr. Joe Kenn at Boise State University.
Mr. Tridico became CSCS certified in 2001 and served two terms as Pennsylvania State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association from 2007-2013. Mr. Tridico also served as Defensive Coordinator for the Titusville Football program from 1999-2004 and developed Titusville’s first comprehensive strength and conditioning program. He was nominated for National High School Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year award and made the top five finalists for the award in 2004. Mr. Tridico then went on to Youngsville High School and developed their football program which earned their first ever 10 win undefeated season in school history. Mr. Tridico and his staff also was the first full staff from Youngsville to earn the honor of coaching the Pennsylvania Squad in the Don Raabe Big 30 Football All-Star Game in 2010.  Mr. Tridico recently accepted the role of strength and conditioning coach for the Jamestown Express Junior Ice Hockey team.  
During his tenure, Mr. Tridico played a major role in developing the Titusville High School Physical Education Program into a nationally recognized every day physical education program for all students grades 9-12. Mr. Tridico taught physical education and health at Titusville High School for 15 years. Mr. Tridico currently has moved back to the elementary physical education level where he is developing a first-rate physical education program for the Titusville community. Mr. Tridico also has developed a reading intervention program along with Reading Specialist Kathy Adelman, program through kinesthetic awareness and play that addresses student learning and behavior.

Mrs. Vincent is a graduate of Titusville High School.  She has been with the school district since 2015 as a nurse technician.  Her nursing experience is primarily in the field of pediatrics, having been employed in two pediatric physicians’ offices from 1999 to 2007. She has also worked in Franklin at Magee Women’s Specialty.   She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.  Her favorite past time is watching her children participate in their activities.

Mr. Zimmerman is a new addition to the faculty at Hydetown this year.  Lucas, orginally from the Corry area, comes from Winter Springs, FL where he taught first and third grades for the Osceola Co School District.  He graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA with a BS in elementary education and played for the Geneva baseball team.
