courtney_mclaughlin_pictureThe school board hired Courtney L. McLaughlin as a School Psychologist at its September meeting replacing Mindy Urquhart who resigned in late August. She is a certified school psychologist in Pennsylvania and is completing her Ph.D. in school psychology this winter from Kent State University in Ohio. She earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and in Psychology from Clarion University and a master's degree in Education from Kent State Unviersity.

She and her husband recently bought a house in the Clarion area, where she was born and raised. In her free time, she likes to fly fish for trout.

We are extremely pleased to have Courtney joining our school district family.
