Mrs. Amy Atkins graduated from Titusville High School in 2006. She then graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clarion University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Mrs. Atkins also earned her certification in Middle Level English and Mathematics Education. After graduation, she taught 5th grade in Stafford, Virginia, then moved back to the Titusville area after getting married. Amy has been employed at the Titusville YMCA Education Center as a kindergarten teacher and had the opportunity to substitute teach in Titusville School District. She is now pursuing her Master's degree in Special Education. Currently she is teaching at Hydetown Elementary School.  In her free time she likes to spend time with family, scrapbook and attends Penn State football games.

Mr. Axton has been a business teacher at Titusville High School since the fall of 1997, and teaches courses that include Entrepreneurship, Accounting, blended Computer Programming, and business math.  In addition to teaching, Mr. Axton currently serves the students of Titusville as the assistant cross country coach, Future Business Leaders of America adviser, and oversees the Rocket Stop school store.

Mr. Axton holds Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Business Teacher Education from Robert Morris University, as well as a Master’s degree and school administration certification from Edinboro University.

Mr. Axton is a PIAA track and field official, and served as the head coach for the girls track and field team for thirteen seasons, including the District X Championship team in 2004.  He was also the head coach of the boys and girls cross country teams for fifteen seasons, including the girls cross country District X Championship team in 2000.

Mrs. Axton began teaching for the Titusville Area School District in 1995. Before that she spent time as a substitute teacher and as a salesperson for a jewelry store. She earned both of her teaching degrees from Clarion University. Mrs. Axton spent 17 years as a Reading Specialist at Hydetown Elementary School. During the 2012-2013 school year, Mrs. Axton began phase two of her teaching career: teaching seventh grade Language Arts and Reading at Titusville Middle School. She is the Advisor for the TMS Student Council.  She has been married to her best friend for six years and has 3 great kids:  Ben who is at Slippery Rock University, Lauren who is at THS, and Lance who is at Cochranton Junior/Senior High School.  Mrs. Axton loves to read, ride her bike, and walk her puppy – just not all at the same time!

Mr. Baker has taught in the Titusville Area School District for twenty-five years. He started at Cherrytree Elementary and then moved to Main Street Elementary. He graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in commercial recreation and later returned to Edinboro University to attain his teaching degree. He has coached basketball and softball while at TASD. Mr. Baker likes to golf, bowl and hunt in his free time.

Outside of school he is involved in the Pleasantville Presbyterian church; he enjoys reading; kayaking; hiking; camping; atv riding; bow hunting and spending time with his wife and children. Mrs. Beck joins the ECLC staff after taking some time off from education to raise her family.  She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education in 1996.  She taught social studies at Maplewood High School.  While teaching, Mrs. Beck earned a master's degree from Edinboro University in Guidance and Counseling and a principal's certificate.  She became assistant principal at Saegertown Elementary in 2004 before moving to Crawford Central School District in 2006 to be the elementary principal at Neason Hill.  In her free time, Mrs. Beck loves spending time with her husband and children.

Mrs. Bowser is a graduate of Titusville High School. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a Minor in Mathematics from Edinboro University. Mrs. Bowser began teaching in the Titusville Area School District in 1991 as a sixth grade teacher at Pleasantville Elementary School. She taught sixth grade for six years and then became a fifth grade teacher at Pleasantville. Mrs. Bowser currently teaches fourth grade at Main Street Elementary where she hopes to continue to teach for many more years.

Mr. Boyer is 2016 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a bachelor's degree in music education where he was involved with Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Combos, Brass Band as well as Marching Band and Orchestra. He completed his student teaching at North Allegheny School District and was a long-term substitute music teacher for South Park Middle School where he taught 5th and 6th grade band and choir.   He is a member of PMEA.  In his free time he plays in a band out of Youngstown and enjoys kayaking, weightlifting and following Pittsburgh sports.  He is also the district's marching band instructor.

Mr. Brooks, a native of Pleasantville, graduated from Edinboro University in 1991 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. He started his teaching career in Virginia before returning to the Titusville area in 1999. In Titusville, he has taught fourth grade at Cherrytree Elementary School as well as Language Arts and Social Studies at Titusville Middle School. Mr. Brooks is currently a science teacher at TMS. Mr. Brooks has served as a member of the Student Assistance Program, team facilitator and basketball coach for several years within the Titusville Area School District. Mr. Brooks is a member of the Titusville Education Association, Pennsylvania State Education Association and the National Education Association.

Beth Butryn is a teacher at Hydetown Elementary School. She graduated from Clarion University in 1987. She began working for the Titusville School District in 1988. She started her career teaching one year of pre-school at Pleasantville and Main Street. Then she moved on to teach sixth grade at the old Junior High for two years. Since then she has been in her current position. In addition to her regular teaching duties, Ms. Butryn also coordinates the annual school wide track and field day and is the yearbook advisor.
Outside of school, Ms. Butryn has many hobbies and activities to keep her busy. Her favorite activity is camping with her family and friends. In the summer she also loves to golf and garden. In the winter she takes part in two bowling leagues. Other past time activities include reading, watching sports, and just spending time with her loved ones.

Heather Carson is one of our math teachers here at the high school. Heather has spent most of her life here in the Titusville area. Heather graduated from Titusville in 1993 and went on to Westminster College to study secondary education. She has taught in a variety of different settings including an inner city school in Maryland and a private school in Erie. She taught for 14 years at Rocky Grove before she came to the Titusville District. She has lived in the Titusville area for all but two years of her life.
Heather has a Master’s Equivalency by taking a variety of technology and instructional strategy courses. She continues to take different courses to keep up to date in these areas. Mrs. Carson has two children that keep her busy with sporting activities such as baseball and softball where they spend most of their summer nights at practices or games.

Mr. Cartney earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in Ceramics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a certificate of Art Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cartney is currently teaching Studio Arts, Commercial Art, Video Production, 3-D Art and Graphics Communication. Mr. Cartney also serves as the advisor for Art Club, and as Auditorium Manager. He has been teaching at the high school since 1999.
Mr. Cartney has spent many years volunteering in his community by participating in the Titusville Council on the Arts and the Shade Tree Commission. He is an alumnus of the Titusville Area School District.
Mr. Cartney enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie and their two children. They enjoy traveling and camping. He is an avid gardener, and especially enjoys cultivating bonsai trees.

Melissa Chamberlain graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She began working at Titusville Area school district in the winter of 2005 as a substitute teacher. The following year Mrs. Chamberlain worked for Titusville as an alternative education teacher and an adult education teacher while continuing to sub. In the fall of 2006 Mrs. Chamberlain became highly certified to teach middle school English and began teaching seventh grade language arts at Titusville Middle School. During her time as a middle school teacher, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Middle School Education. In the fall of 2011 Mrs. Chamberlain started teaching fifth grade at Pleasantville Elementary School where she continues to work today.

Stephanie Cicero has been employed by the Titusville Area School District since 2012.  She currently teaches elementary general music and fifth grade instrumental band. Stephanie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Slippery Rock University in 2012 with a degree in Music Education/Percussion.  She earned a Master’s Degree in Music Education with a focus on General Music/Instrumental Music from Kent State University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Stephanie recently completed a second Master’s Degree from Slippery Rock University.  She earned a 4.0 GPA with her completion of a Master’s of Education in Online Instruction and a certification for Teaching Music Online. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Stephanie is the middle school musical director and is also the community youth summer theater director.

Mrs. Colie is a graduate of Shaler Area High School, Class of 1989. She attended Bethany College then University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science. Mrs. Colie went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and her Principal’s Certification from Gannon University. She continues to take classes yearly to keep up with the changing world.

Mrs. Colie has been teaching at Titusville Area School District for 19 years as a 7th grade mathematics instructor. During her time at TASD, Mrs. Colie helped run Student Council, the Math Club, and Stand Tall. She was also involved with the Titusville Area Association as Vice-President, Building Representative and Social Chair. Mrs. Colie was also a team facilitator for 7th grade Team Centaur and an adult Education instructor.

Outside of school, Mrs. Colie loves the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She loves skiing, playing softball and tennis, swimming, boating, traveling, listening to music and most importantly spending time with her husband and three wonderful kids.

Mr. Come was hired by TASD in 2016 as a biology instructor. In addition to teaching, he also volunteer coaches for the high school boys’ soccer team and was hired as an assistant swim coach at THS.
Mr. Come is a proud 2010 graduate of Titusville High School. He also has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Slippery Rock University.
Prior to teaching at THS, Mr. Come completed his student teaching at Franklin Area High School teach chemistry. He also has a year of experience at Warren Area High School as a long term substitute teaching physics.

Mrs. Copley starting working for the district in 1995 as a sub in at the Daycare Center and as a classroom aide. She was hired as a fulltime aide at the E.C.L.C. in 1997 and moved to the High School in the fall of 2001 as attendance secretary and now also runs the district’s Print Shop. You will often see her at school sporting events. She is the mother of 3, all of whom graduated from Titusville, and the grandmother of 1. She enjoys flying to England to spend time with her daughter’s family, when she is able to.

Prior to her employment with the Titusville Area School District, she was a classroom teacher for the Oil City School District in grades 1 and 2. She graduated Cum Laude from Edinboro University in 1986 with a dual Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. Continuing her studies at E.U.P., she earned a Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist in 1987 as well as Certifications in Elementary School Administration and Elementary School Supervision, both in 1995. Ms. Cotterman is a member of the Titusville Education Association, Pennsylvania State Education Association and the National Education Association.

John Cowan has served as the Titusville Area School District’s Director of Buildings and Grounds since 2011. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Grove City College.  John has over 30 years of experience in Facility management operations including service with the nationally renowned support service companies  ARAMARK/ServiceMaster and UGL-UNICCO. John’s previous Director roles prior to coming to Titusville Area School District included tenures at Wake Forest University, Millcreek Township School District, The University of Miami and Slippery Rock University. Regional responsibilities as Director of Operations with ARAMARK/ServiceMaster in the Northeast and Southeastern United States included consulting at over 100 educational and healthcare institutions.

She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2000 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Education, and then later earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. Mrs. Dahle has been employed by the Titusville Area School District for 26 yrs. She has been the secretary at Pleasantville School for 21 years. Mrs. Dahle was the recipient of the Loretta Woodson Award in 2011 for “unselfish dedication and exemplary service to the Pleasantville School and Titusville School District”. She has also received a Citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for her “invaluable tenure of service in which she has demonstrated remarkable knowledge, ability and integrity in carrying out her many responsibilities, thus earning her the respect and gratitude of all those who have received the benefit of her tireless devotion to duty”.

Mrs. Julie Daugherty is a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1984. She attended the University of Pittsburgh-Titusville and then transferred to main campus where she received a Bachelor's in American History with a minor in Pre-Soviet History. She earned her Secondary Education Certificate in Social Studies and after subbing for a year was hired as a Social Studies teacher for the Valley Grove School District. After being employed for 6 years, Mrs. Daugherty resigned to raise her three children. During her hiatus, she moved to Kokkola, Finland for two years with her family. While there, she taught a 6th grade English class at Hollihaka Immersion School. Returning to the States, she and her family lived in Hinckley, Ohio and returned to the Titusville area in 2005. In 2006, she began subbing for the Titusville District K-12 and has been very involved in the District with her three children and subbing.

Mrs. Daugherty is a member of the Titusville Alumni Association and the United Way of the Titusville Region board and attends the Titusville Free Methodist Church. Beyond her activities, her favorite way to spend her time is with her family. Mrs. Daugherty is really excited to a part of the Middle School family!

In 2002, she accepted a position with the Titusville Area School District as an 8th grade math instructor. Vanessa Doutt is currently a 4th grade teacher at Pleasantville. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Special and Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University and then a Master's degree in Reading from Edinboro University. Before teaching in the Titusville Area School District Vanessa taught in the Redbank Valley School District as a Learning Support Teacher and gave piano lessons. In 1995, she was hired in the Titusville School District to teach Learning Support. Since then, Vanessa has served as a Reading Specialist, 1st Grade teacher, and 2nd Grade teacher at Pleasantville and Hydetown Elementary Schools and taught the summer PALS Programs. In addition to reading, 4 wheeling, and visiting family, Miss Doutt enjoys watching her son, Owen, play hockey for the Meadville Bulldogs and watching her daughter, Kasey, dance, play sports, and participate in church activities. Vanessa lives in Youngsville with her fiancé, Seth, and her children.

Mrs. Elan taught for one year in North Carolina before returning to the Titusville Area School District. In Titusville, she has been a first, third, and fourth grade teacher. Nicole has been teaching full-time since 1998, with 17 years spent at Hydetown Elementary School. Mrs. Elan currently is a first grade teacher at Main Street Elementary School, joining the faculty and staff there for the 2015-16 school year. Nicole resides in Titusville with her husband, three children, and the family dog, and in her spare time she likes to read and kayak.

Mrs. Feiereisen is a THS graduate and an Edinboro University graduate with a degree in Art K-12 and a minor in special education.  Prior to her hiring as our new elementary art teacher, she was a substitute teacher for the district for the past several years and also worked with the YMCA's 21st Century After School Learning Program as the lead second grade teacher.  In addition she has taught lessons at the Erie Art Museum and was awarded an academic achievement award at Edinboro. She also participated in the NAEA organization.  Mrs. Feireisen and her husband Erik currently reside in Titusville.

Mrs. Fenske as been employed in the Titusville School District since 2008, teaching middle school and high school vocal music and guitar.  She also directs the All School Musical, Senior Class Play, is the Drama Club Advisor, and started the MS Guitar Ensemble.

Mrs. Fenske graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in May 2008. She graduated magna cum laude, and was a member of the music fraternity, Sigma Alpha Iota. She earned her Master’s Degree in Music Education from Boston University in 2012. She also holds a digital learning certificate from Eduspire, certificate in teaching guitar from GAMA, and completed the Pennsylvania Music Educator’s Association leadership academy in 2015.

Mrs. Fenske is a member of NEA, TEA, and PMEA. She serves as the technology and data coordinator for PMEA District 2, and is an active member of the Titusville Summer Theater board of directors. Outside of school she teaches private voice, guitar, and saxophone lessons. During her spare time, she enjoys staying active in music theater in Titusville and the Barrow Civic Theater in Franklin, reading, kayaking, and spending time with her family.

I received my bachelor’s degree in literature, communication arts, and secondary education from Grove City College and my master’s degree in communications with a certificate in public relations from Clarion University. I taught tenth and eleventh grade English at North Clarion High School for four years before coming to THS in 2001. I taught tenth and eleventh grade English at the high school from 2001 until January 2010, when I took a sabbatical to complete my master’s degree. The next fall I returned to TMS to teach 8th grade reading and language arts classes for three years before returning to the high school to teach 11th grade English.

Mr. Fink graduated from Oil City in 1997. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary and Special education from Mercyhurst College. He obtained his Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. In addition to his Master’s he also received his Principal’s Certification from Gannon as well.
For the past 14 years, Mr. Fink worked in Jamestown, New York. For the first seven years, he was an 8th grade consultant teacher at Washington Middle School. The next 6 years he was an assistant principal at that same school. This last year he was the assistant principal at Jamestown High School. In addition to teaching and being an assistant principal, Mr. Fink also coached Freshmen football for 5 years and was 7th and 8th grade basketball coach for the past 11 years.
Mr. Fink enjoys spending time with his daughters, family, and friends. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys golfing, weight lifting, and being outdoors.

Mr. Hancock has been part of the Titusville community since 1992 and has worked as a School Psychologist in the Titusville Area School District (TASD) since 1993. Mr. Hancock was born and raised in Batavia, New York and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Allegheny College. He then received his Master’s Degree in School Psychology from Alfred University in 1993. His current duties are to provide an array of psychological services to students at the TMS/THS.

In addition to his academic duties, Mr. Hancock has been a strong proponent of student extracurricular involvement. Mr. Hancock has coached football, wrestling, and/or both at all levels for the better part of two decades and currently serves as the Head Football Coach. He is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), Titusville Education Association (TEA), and the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA). Additionally, he is a member of the Crawford County Suicide Task Force (CCSTF) and the Crawford County Educational Subcommittee (CCES). He and his wife Sandy live in Pleasantville with their three sons.

He also received his Practical Nursing License and served 6 years with the United States Army Reserve from 1967 to 1973 with a rank of E-5, and received an honorable discharge. Before coming to Titusville in 1993, Amy taught junior and senior high mathematics at Sayre Area School District in Sayre, PA. During her years at Titusville, she has been employed as a math teacher, middle school counselor and middle school assistant principal. Currently she is the Director of Student Services and Safety Coordinator for the district,  overseeing PowerSchool Student Information System, Supervision of School Counselors and School Nurses, Student Assistance Programming and Homeless Liaison and Foster Care Point of Contact. She has been the Director of Student Services with the district since 2007.

Jon Herman began his teaching career with Titusville during the 1993-94 school year. Miss Hofstetter was hired in July of 2013 to join the Early Childhood Learning Center staff.  She graduated in 2004 from McDowell High School in Erie PA.  She went on to study music at Mercyhurst College and graduated in 2007, cum laude, with a Bachelors of Music Degree in Music Education.  Immediately after graduation Miss Hofstetter was hired in July of 2013 to join the Early Childhood Learning Center staff.  She graduated in 2004 from McDowell High School in Erie PA.  Miss Hofstetter went on to study music at Mercyhurst College in Erie PA she graduated in 2007, cum laude, with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education.  Immediately after graduating college, Miss Hofstetter was recruited to teach in Salisbury, MD.  Miss Hofstetter taught music for five years for the Wicomico County Board of Education at a primary school.  Outside of school, Miss Hofstetter enjoys crafting, shopping and spending time with her family and her dog, Minnie.  Miss Hofstetter also loves Zumba and is a licensed Zumba instructor.  In addition she is serving as the district's assistant marching band director.

Mr. Hopkins is a graduate of Edinboro University with a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, specializing in Earth and Space Science. He began working for the Titusville Area School District as an evening instructor with the Alternative Education’s GED program. This transitioned into a full-time teaching position in the Alternative Education day program. After this experience, he came to the Middle School as an Earth and Space Science teacher. Mr. Hopkins currently teaches an 8th grade Integrated Science program. While at TMS, he began a Master’s program in Technology in Education to better utilize current technology in the classroom.

Miss Hopwood is a 2009 graduate of Titusville High School and a 2013 graduate of Edinboro University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  She earned her Master’s degree in Reading from Edinboro University in 2016 and was hired by the district as the Title I Reading Specialist in 2016.  Having spent two years in that position, in 2018 Miss Hopwood moved into a classroom teaching position. Previously, Miss Hopwood has served as a substitute teacher in the district and taught Head Start for two years.  In her free time, Miss Hopwood enjoys walking her dog and spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Houck taught at Riverside High School and Cochranton Junior-Senior High School before joining the Titusville Area School District staff in 2003.  She taught business education at Titusville High School for 3 years, was the library media specialist at Titusville Middle School for 9 years and was the assistant principal at Titusville High School from 2015-2018. In 2018 she became the Principal at Hydetown Elementary.  
Mrs. Houck received her teaching certification through Notre Dame College of Ohio.  She earned her Master's degree from Mansfield University and her K-12 Administrative Certification from Gannon University.

Gretchen Howard graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Art History in April of 2000. She was employed as a Counselor/Advocate, working with victims of sexual and domestic violence, until earning her Masters of Social Work Degree in May of 2013 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. After becoming a Licensed Social Worker in August of 2013, Gretchen worked as a licensed therapist with a local non-profit agency until accepting the Social Worker Position with United Way of the Titusville Region and the Titusville Area School District.
Gretchen is a lifelong resident of Titusville and in her free time she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and two little boys.

Mr. Huck is a 1998 graduate of Fort LeBoeuf High School. He then attended California University of Pennsylvania from which he graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Education in Technology Education and an Associate’s Degree in Drafting Technology. After graduation, he began teaching at Titusville Middle School as a Technology Education teacher. Mr. Huck has since earned a Master’s degree in Technology Education from California University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Huck has also served as assistant wrestling coach for Titusville High School and as a coach for  Middle School track. He also volunteers as a coach for the Titusville Area Youth Wrestling club and for Titusville Area Little League.

Mrs. Huck is originally from the Waterford area, where she graduated from Fort LeBoeuf High School in 2000.  She continued her education at Edinboro University receiving an associates degree in business before changing her focus into education and went on to get an associates degree in developmental disabilities.  She worked for a year in the Fort LeBoeuf School District as a paraprofessional in the middle school emotional support classroom and later returned to Edinboro receive her bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.  She then continued on to receive her masters degree in Autism Support.  Mrs. Huck taught for the nine years for the Riverview Intermediate Unit within the high school here at Titusville and in 2018 she was hired by the district.

Ann Jaco is a graduate of Titusville High School. After graduation, she attended the University of Pittsburgh earning a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing in psychology and sociology. She then went on to Edinboro University, earning her certification in elementary education and then becoming highly qualified in middle level English Language Arts. In 2009, she completed her graduate work, earning a Masters of Reading at Edinboro University.

Mrs. Jaco began her career as an assistant teacher at the Titusville Day Care. Continuing in the district, she was a substitute teacher for several years, taught Alternative Education, and was a GED instructor. During her time, she has taught at the elementary level, Language Arts and Reading in grades 6th-8th, and is currently the Title 1 Reading Specialist.

Mrs. Jones has been teaching Social Studies in the Titusville Area School District since 1994.  She spent sixteen years teaching Geography and Ancient World Cultures to 7th graders, and currently teaches U.S. and the World to 11th grade students.  Mrs. Jones earned her undergraduate degree in Social Studies Education from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 1992, and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University in 2000 and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Differentiated Education from NorthCentral University in 2010.  In addition to her teaching duties at Titusville High School, she is currently the advisor of the History Club and Model UN Team, and tutors students in the after school Homework Help/Credit Recovery program.  Over the years she has also coached volleyball and cheerleading, advised the Middle School Student Council, served as a cooperating teacher for several student teachers and has sat on various building and district committees.  Mrs. Jones is an active member of the Pennsylvania Alliance for Geographic Education (PAGE), serving in its Steering Committee, is a THS teacher-leader for Reading Apprenticeship Improving Secondary Education in Pennsylvania (PA-RAISE), and has been recognized by National Geographic with a Distinguished Teacher Award and by the Network of State Teacher of the Year – Pennsylvania Chapter (NSTOY-PA) as a 2015 teacher of the year finalist.  In addition, Mrs. Jones has had the opportunity to travel on a Fulbright trip to Jordan in 2014 and a National Endowment for the Humanities trip to Turkey in 2015.

She has several years of experience working in the mental health field as a Therapeutic Staff Support & recently was hired as the Special Education Community Based Instruction Aide in the MDS room at Pleasantville Elementary. Ms. Kearney is a member of the Autism Tough Foundation & Relay For Life. She also supports the Venango County Humane Society. Ms. Kearney is known for her good sense of humor & she loves being around her family & friends. She also enjoys being outside swimming in nature, listening to music, & taking long walks.

Mrs. Keebler graduated from Oil City High School in 1991. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education from Clarion University in 1995. Mrs. Keebler began her teaching career at Venango Catholic where she taught Spanish and French. She accepted a position with Clarion Area School District in 2000 where she spent six years teaching elementary Spanish to students in grades K-6. While with the Clarion Area School District, Mrs. Keebler obtained her masters in education with a specialization in curriculum and instruction from Gannon University. She also earned her ESL program specialist certification. Nearing the end of her tenure, she completed her K-12 principal’s certification through Gannon University. In the summer of 2006, Mrs. Keebler accepted the position of high school principal for Titusville High School. She served in that position for seven years. In 2013, Mrs. Keebler transferred from the high school to Main Street Elementary School. While serving as the Main Street Elementary principal, Mrs. Keebler completed her letter of eligibility/superintendent’s certification through Gannon University and will begin her position as the Director of Federal Programs, Curriculum and Learning for the 2018-19 school year.

Miss Kline completed her undergraduate and graduate work at Clarion University where she received her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. She started her career in the medical field providing adult speech and language therapy in rehabilitation facilities in the Altoona and Clearfield areas. Miss Kline also worked at Franklin Area School District providing services to grades K-12. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association along with the Pennsylvania Speech and Hearing Association.

Mrs. Kline graduated from Clarion University with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  She earned her Master of Education from Clarion University in 2016.  Along with her K-6 teaching certification, Mrs. Kline also holds teaching certifications in English grades 7-12, Mathematics grades 7-9, and Family Consumer Science K-12.  Mrs. Kline has been with the Titusville Area School District since 2007.  She is currently the Alternative Education Coordinator for the District and teaches within the program.  Prior to teaching in the District, she taught Algebra at Post Oak Schools in Houston, Texas, elementary school in Pittsburgh, at St. Titus in Titusville, and Adult Education classes in Crawford County.

Mr. Knapp joined the TASD faculty as the Principal of Titusville High School during the 2014-2015 school year. After serving for four years in the United States Navy, Mr. Knapp attended Clarion University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/Social Studies. He later earned a Master’s Degree in Health Studies from the University of Alabama, as well as a Master of Education in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University. He taught social studies to middle and high school students in both South Carolina and Pennsylvania for thirteen years. He also served as a mentor and coach for numerous athletes in wrestling, soccer, and football. After earning his principal certification, he became the assistant principal at Sheffield High School and then at Youngsville High School. Most recently, Mr. Knapp has been the principal of Youngsville High School and the Supervisor of Athletics and Co-curricular Activities for the Warren County School District.

In his free time, Mr. Knapp enjoys spending time with family and coaching their little league teams, as well as golfing and fishing.

Mrs. Knapp is a 6th and 7th grade School Counselor who has been working in the Titusville Area School District since the 2007-2008 school year.  Upon graduation from Franklin Area High School, she attended Thiel College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English and became certified in both Secondary English and Elementary Education.  Mrs. Knapp earned her Master of Education in Instructional Accommodations from Francis Marion University in 2003 and her School Counseling certification from Westminister College in 2019.  In her spare time, Mrs. Knapp can be found cheering in the stands of one of her sons' sporting events.

Miss Kolodziejczak joins the staff at THS in the Health & Phys Ed department.  She is 2015 Slippery Rock graduate with a BS in Health and PE and is also a certified Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard.  Prior to coming to the district she worked a year at the Lawrence Co. Career and Technical Center and also taught at Kenmoor Middle School in Maryland.  She did her student teaching at an elementary school for girls in Dublin, Ireland.

Mrs. Sandralee Kozlowski (aka Frau/Madame) teaches all levels of both French and German at Titusville High School in Pennsylvania. She has taught both French and German at Titusville High School for nine years. From 2004 to 2005 she taught Business, Web Design and English at Maplewood High School and she has also taught French in Orlando, Florida. She is English and was raised in Northwest England, in the small resort town of Lytham St. Annes. Mrs. Kozlowski studied French, German and Spanish at Lancashire University in England. Her American education/qualifications include an A.A.S. Degree in International Business from Charlotte, N.C., a B.S. Degree in Business Administration/Marketing., an M.A. Degree in Communications., an M.A. Degree in Educational Leadership and more recently a certification as a K-12 Principal.

He attended the University of New Mexico, where he earned a BA in broadcast journalism, and he received his teaching certification from Edinboro. He has been teaching in Titusville since 1996, where he fights the never ending battle for Truth, Justice, and the Oxford Comma.

Before coming to Titusville School District Miss Leamer worked at Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center in Erie. She is the Junior Class Advisor, coordinates Prom, and participates in many after school activities. Anneliese Ledebur is a proud graduate of Titusville High School. Upon her graduation, Miss Ledebur attended Geneva College and obtained her Bachelor’s in Arts degree in History Education. In 2002, she joined the Titusville Area School District as a Middle School Social Studies teacher. Since that time, Miss Ledebur received her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Edinboro University.

Miss Ledebur is most proud of her work with the Wilderness Quest program. This outdoor educational opportunity was created in 1973 by her father, Dennis Ledebur and several other TASD employees. One of the longest running TASD programs, Wilderness Quest has been recognized by the Association for Middle Level Education for its innovative and unique curriculum.

Mr. Ledebur joined the TASD staff in September of 2019 as an elementary school counselor. He received his Master's in Education as a Counselor at Westminster College and an M.A. in Higher Education at Geneva College.
Prior to joining the district's staff he worked at the University of Pittsburgh-Titusville campus as a visiting instructor where he coordinated tutoring in the learning center and oversaw faculty tutors.

Ruth LeDonne earned her bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University majoring in special education and minoring in dance. She did her student teaching at Shuman Delinquent Center, in which she was their first student teacher based on her request. She, also, received a master’s degree from Duquesne University in Educational Psychology. While at Duquesne, she played on the volleyball team. She received her lifeguard certificate. In Pittsburgh, she taught in several private schools and was the ACLD Adult coordinator. Upon moving, she substituted in a variety of school districts and a semester at North Clarion before being hired by the IU and working for the Titusville School District.

She began her teaching career in 2009 for the Franklin School District. In 2010, she was hired as the ESL teacher for Titusville. Mrs. Machokas taught ESL for 3 years. She came to the Middle School as a Spanish teacher in 2013. She currently teaches 7th and 8th grade Spanish.

Currently, Mrs. Machokas is the Culture Club advisor at the Middle School. She is a member of the Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, and spending time with her family.

She grew up in the state of New Hampshire and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at the University of New Hampshire. Mrs. Martin’s previous work was in the Student Affairs Division at Castleton State College in Vermont and at Allegheny College in Meadville. She lives in Meadville with her husband and two sons.

Donna McAllister worked as a nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for four years before moving to Titusville. She has worked in a doctor’s office and at Titusville Area Hospital in the Cardiac Rehab Department. Mrs. McAllister started working for Titusville Area School District in 2007 as a nurse technician. In 2013 she was hired as the Elementary School Nurse for the district.  Mrs. McAllister received her BSN from IUP. She completed her certification in School Nursing from Gannon University.

Mr. McDonald, a native of Kane, PA graduated from Clarion University in 1998 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. He started teaching in 1999 at Pleasantville Elementary, teaching third grade for six years, then fourth grade for eight years. He taught sixth grade Reading and PA & The World at TMS before joining the ECLC staff in 2016. Mr. McDonald has enjoyed coaching track, football, and little league baseball over the past 16 years.

Mrs. McDonald is currently a reading specialist at the ECLC.  She graduated from Titusville High School in 1991.  Mrs. McDonald attended Clarion University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education.  While working as a substitute teacher for many local school districts, Mrs. McDonald continued her education and received a Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist.  Mrs. McDonald taught first grade at Pleasantville Elementary School for six years, before transferring to the ECLC.

Mrs. McFarland is the Family & Consumer Sciences teacher at THS. She is also the adviser for the THS Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.

Mrs. McGaughey is a 1990 graduate of Clarion University, she had taught 2nd grade, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, art and music at St. Titus School for five years. Mike McGaughey is the Director of Special Education. He began his career in 1990 teaching in Talbot and Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland. He taught a middle level Disruptive Youth Program and middle school support programs. He also worked with various non-traditional college students at Chesapeake College on the Eastern Shore. In 1992, Mike returned to Pennsylvania and began working at the Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center. At Sarah Reed, Mike was a residential therapist, teacher, school based mental health therapist, and eventually an administrator of various elementary through high school Alternative Education and Emotional Support Campus School Programs. Mike also worked as a therapeutic support staff, mobile therapist, and behavior specialist at Sarah Reed. In 1996 Mike returned to the public school at the Titusville Area School District and began teaching and coordinating their middle and high school alternative education programs. In 2002, Mike became an assistant principal at Titusville High School and the coordinator of the district’s Alternative Education Programs. In 2005 Mike became the principal of Titusville Middle School and coordinated the district’s Alternative Education Programs. Mike continued to be the principal of Titusville Middle School until 2014 when he became the Director of Special Education for the school district. During this time Mike continues to work with our Alternative Education Program and also continues since 1997 to serve as the Pennsylvania Department of Education Region 8 Coordinator for Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth.

Tammy McHenry is one of the high school counselors for Titusville High School. Originally from Van, Pennsylvania, she graduated from Cranberry High School, earned a B.A. in psychology from Clarion University, and later attained her M.Ed. in Secondary School Counseling from Slippery Rock University. Her previous employment includes positions as a supervisor/case manager for a private foster care agency, a graduate assistant for the Slippery Rock University tutoring program, an alternative education social worker and supervisor of the New Options Program through the Riverview Intermediate Unit, a substitute guidance counselor at Mercer Technology Center, Keystone Jr/Sr High School, and Titusville Middle School, and a substitute in the ACT 101 program at Slippery Rock University. She has been with the Titusville Area School District for almost 20 years. She lives on a dairy farm with her husband, Chris. They have two children, Skyler and Brooke.

Miss McQuown is a proud graduate of Titusville High School.  She graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  She later went on to earn her Master's degree as a Reading Specialist from Edinboro University.  Previously Emily  worked for the district as both an educational aide and the Title I aide at Main Street.  Emily works with all grade levels as our Title One Reading Specialist. She loves to read and spend time with her family.

Mr. Miller is a graduate of Edinboro University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Health. He began working for the Titusville Area School District as a high school teacher in the fall of 1999 and taught there for three years. After this experience, he taught at Pleasantville and Hydetown for the next ten years of his career. Mr. Miller currently teaches 6th, 7th and 8th grade physical education and health at the Middle School. He holds a Master’s degree from Gannon University. He is also a Level 1 Crossfit instructor. He is the head golf coach for the varsity boys’ golf team and the 7th grade girls volleyball coach.

Tara Nichols is the Elementary School Counselor for Grades K4-5. She is originally from Titusville, and is a 1995 graduate of Titusville High School. She attended Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania, and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Tara completed her graduate work at Westminster College, and received a Master’s Degree and Certification in Elementary School Counseling.

Tara was previously employed as a social worker by Riverview Intermediate Unit 6. She has worked in the Titusville Area School District since the implementation of the Elementary Student Assistance Program in 2004. She lives in Centerville with her husband and children.

Mrs. Jolene Nosko graduated from T.H.S. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. After she graduated, she moved to North Carolina where she taught kindergarten and first grade.

Mrs. Nosko loves spending time with her husband and her son. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, rock climbing, and reading. Mrs. Nosko is thrilled to be teaching first grade at Main Street and returning to her roots as part of the Titusville Area School District and the community.

Mrs. O’Donnell is a sixth grade math teacher at Titusville Middle School. Her undergraduate work includes a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training from Duquesne University and an Education Degree from Clarion University. She obtained her Master’s degree in Education from Clarion University with a certification to teach General Science, Biology, and Math.

Mrs. O’Donnell began her teaching career at TASD in 2005 as the Alternative Education coordinator. She began teaching full time for TASD in 2008 as a math and science teacher and currently teaches 6th grade math. Mrs. O’Donnell also owns and teaches dance lessons at A Dancer’s Reflection.

Jeremy received a graduate degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University and received undergraduate degrees in both Business Management and Business Education from the University of Pittsburgh. After graduation, Jeremy worked as an online fraud analyst for a vendor company of Microsoft and later began his career in education as a business technology teacher in the city of Erie. Most recently he worked as an eLearning and Instructional Developer at Mercyhurst University. Jeremy is also a volunteer for the Titusville Redevelopment Authority and Erie SCORE. Mr. O’Toole enjoys hunting, camping, sports and most importantly, spending time with his family.
