Melissa Chamberlain graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She began working at Titusville Area school district in the winter of 2005 as a substitute teacher. The following year Mrs. Chamberlain worked for Titusville as an alternative education teacher and an adult education teacher while continuing to sub. In the fall of 2006 Mrs. Chamberlain became highly certified to teach middle school English and began teaching seventh grade language arts at Titusville Middle School. During her time as a middle school teacher, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Middle School Education. In the fall of 2011 Mrs. Chamberlain started teaching fifth grade at Pleasantville Elementary School where she continues to work today.

Stephanie Cicero has been employed by the Titusville Area School District since 2012.  She currently teaches elementary general music and fifth grade instrumental band. Stephanie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Slippery Rock University in 2012 with a degree in Music Education/Percussion.  She earned a Master’s Degree in Music Education with a focus on General Music/Instrumental Music from Kent State University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Stephanie recently completed a second Master’s Degree from Slippery Rock University.  She earned a 4.0 GPA with her completion of a Master’s of Education in Online Instruction and a certification for Teaching Music Online. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Stephanie is the middle school musical director and is also the community youth summer theater director.

Ms. Cotterman is a native of Jefferson, Ohio. She has been a Title 1 Reading Specialist at Pleasantville School since 1988. Prior to her employment with the Titusville Area School District, she was a classroom teacher for the Oil City School District in grades 1 and 2. She graduated Cum Laude from Edinboro University in 1986 with a dual Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. Continuing her studies at E.U.P., she earned a Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist in 1987 as well as Certifications in Elementary School Administration and Elementary School Supervision, both in 1995. Ms. Cotterman is a member of the Titusville Education Association, Pennsylvania State Education Association and the National Education Association.

Mrs. Dahle has been employed by the Titusville Area School District for 26 yrs. She has been the secretary at Pleasantville School for 21 years. Mrs. Dahle was the recipient of the Loretta Woodson Award in 2011 for “unselfish dedication and exemplary service to the Pleasantville School and Titusville School District”. She has also received a Citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for her “invaluable tenure of service in which she has demonstrated remarkable knowledge, ability and integrity in carrying out her many responsibilities, thus earning her the respect and gratitude of all those who have received the benefit of her tireless devotion to duty”.

Vanessa Doutt is currently a 4th grade teacher at Pleasantville. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Special and Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University and then a Master's degree in Reading from Edinboro University. Before teaching in the Titusville Area School District Vanessa taught in the Redbank Valley School District as a Learning Support Teacher and gave piano lessons. In 1995, she was hired in the Titusville School District to teach Learning Support. Since then, Vanessa has served as a Reading Specialist, 1st Grade teacher, and 2nd Grade teacher at Pleasantville and Hydetown Elementary Schools and taught the summer PALS Programs. In addition to reading, 4 wheeling, and visiting family, Miss Doutt enjoys watching her son, Owen, play hockey for the Meadville Bulldogs and watching her daughter, Kasey, dance, play sports, and participate in church activities. Vanessa lives in Youngsville with her fiancé, Seth, and her children.

Mr. Fink graduated from Oil City in 1997. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary and Special education from Mercyhurst College. He obtained his Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. In addition to his Master’s he also received his Principal’s Certification from Gannon as well.
For the past 14 years, Mr. Fink worked in Jamestown, New York. For the first seven years, he was an 8th grade consultant teacher at Washington Middle School. The next 6 years he was an assistant principal at that same school. This last year he was the assistant principal at Jamestown High School. In addition to teaching and being an assistant principal, Mr. Fink also coached Freshmen football for 5 years and was 7th and 8th grade basketball coach for the past 11 years.
Mr. Fink enjoys spending time with his daughters, family, and friends. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys golfing, weight lifting, and being outdoors.

Mrs. Grimm attended Fairmont University in Fairmont, West Virginia, for two years, before transferring to Clarion University where she graduated with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She later earned certificates in English as a Second Language, Middle Level Science and PK-4. She currently lives in Oil City with her husband and son.

Miss Hanely was hired in the district in 2016 as the Librarian for Pleasantville, Main Street, Hydetown and the ECLC.  She was born and raised in Neiltown, PA.  She attended VCHS and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science.  She is currently working on her Master's degree and has taken on the LEGO coach position at Main Street Elementary.  In her off time, she works as a climbing/COPE instructor at CTSR and volunteers at her church as a teacher and a cantor.  She also spends a good amount of time kayaking and reading.

Gretchen Howard graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Art History in April of 2000. She was employed as a Counselor/Advocate, working with victims of sexual and domestic violence, until earning her Masters of Social Work Degree in May of 2013 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. After becoming a Licensed Social Worker in August of 2013, Gretchen worked as a licensed therapist with a local non-profit agency until accepting the Social Worker Position with United Way of the Titusville Region and the Titusville Area School District.
Gretchen is a lifelong resident of Titusville and in her free time she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and two little boys.

Mrs. Jones also works at the YMCA 21st Century Program and has previously worked in the banking industry. She enjoys reading and gardening in her spare time.

Ms. Kearney is a 2000 graduate of Oil City High School & 2004 graduate of Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She has several years of experience working in the mental health field as a Therapeutic Staff Support & recently was hired as the Special Education Community Based Instruction Aide in the MDS room at Pleasantville Elementary. Ms. Kearney is a member of the Autism Tough Foundation & Relay For Life. She also supports the Venango County Humane Society. Ms. Kearney is known for her good sense of humor & she loves being around her family & friends. She also enjoys being outside swimming in nature, listening to music, & taking long walks.

Mr. Ledebur joined the TASD staff in September of 2019 as an elementary school counselor. He received his Master's in Education as a Counselor at Westminster College and an M.A. in Higher Education at Geneva College.
Prior to joining the district's staff he worked at the University of Pittsburgh-Titusville campus as a visiting instructor where he coordinated tutoring in the learning center and oversaw faculty tutors.

Donna McAllister worked as a nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for four years before moving to Titusville. She has worked in a doctor’s office and at Titusville Area Hospital in the Cardiac Rehab Department. Mrs. McAllister started working for Titusville Area School District in 2007 as a nurse technician. In 2013 she was hired as the Elementary School Nurse for the district.  Mrs. McAllister received her BSN from IUP. She completed her certification in School Nursing from Gannon University.

Lisa Repasky began teaching for Titusville in 1993. She graduated from Westminster College in 1990 with a BA in Elementary Education. After graduation, Lisa was awarded a graduate assistantship from Slippery Rock University and completed her Master’s degree in Special Education. She was hired as a Pre-K teacher at the ECLC in 1993. Later, she moved to a fourth grade position. She has taught at Cherrytree, Hydetown, and now Pleasantville School.
Outside of teaching she enjoys golfing, gardening, and spending time with her husband and children.

Mrs. Saxton graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. Prior to being hired by the district she worked for the Riverview IU teaching Autism Support for grades 3-5 for 9 years at Pleasantville Elementary and Forest Area SD for three years teaching 1st-3rd grade. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as camping, and reading.

Mrs. Sharp is a third grade teacher. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary and Special Education in 2004 from Edinboro University. She also earned her Master’s degree as a Reading Specialist from Edinboro University. She is also highly qualified in Middle Level ELA. Mrs. Sharp started working in the Titusville School District in 2004 as a long term substitute at the high school. In January of 2005, she was hired through the IU6 as a Life Skills teacher at TMS. In the fall of 2006, she began teaching 6th-8th grade Special Education Language Arts. Since 2013, she has been teaching third grade at Pleasantville Elementary.

Mrs. Shaver was born and raised in Titusville, PA. She has a Master’s Degree in Educational and Developmental Strategies in Education through Wilkes University. She was a Summa Cum Laude Graduate of Edinboro University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
She has taught second grade at Pleasantville Elementary since 2010. She started teaching at Main Street Elementary in 2007 as a Fifth grade teacher. Her passion is teaching and she feels that it is very important to help every child succeed and do the best they can.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, being outdoors, reading, and doing crafts.

Kristen Slingluff received her Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Edinboro University. She went on to receive her Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Radford University in Virginia. She was employed by Titusville Area School District in 2019. Prior to that, she worked at Lakeview School District in Stoneboro. Kristen also has experience working in a private practice pediatric therapy clinic, servicing birth to 21 years.

She taught first, second, and third grade for the Warren County School District from 1997-2005. She has taught first and second grades in the Titusville Area School District from 2005-present.
Mrs. Spencer’s hobbies are exercising, golf, spending time with friends, family, and her beloved dogs.

Christina Sumoske is a third grade teacher at Pleasantville Elementary School. Christina came to Pleasantville in 2010. She began her career at Main Street Elementary School in 1999 where she taught grades three and four. Christina earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Edinboro University. In 2004, she earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. In her spare time she is a foster parent for Venango County and she loves to exercise, relax by her pool, and spend time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Tainton is a graduate of Edinboro University where she earned a Master’s degree in Special Education. She has been teaching at T.A.S.D. since 2004. Currently, Mrs. Tainton is the K-12 Gifted Coordinator and the T.H.S. Academic Challenge Club advisor.

Mr. Tridico has been working in the Titusville School District since 1997. Mr. Tridico graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1994. He was a member of the football team at the University of Arkansas. Mr. Tridico earned the honor of training under Mr. John Stucky who was one of the great pioneers in strength and conditioning. Mr. Tridico then completed his graduate course work in Exercise and Sport Studies at Boise State University in 1997. Mr. Tridico also was an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach under the direction of Mr. Joe Kenn at Boise State University.
Mr. Tridico became CSCS certified in 2001 and served two terms as Pennsylvania State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association from 2007-2013. Mr. Tridico also served as Defensive Coordinator for the Titusville Football program from 1999-2004 and developed Titusville’s first comprehensive strength and conditioning program. He was nominated for National High School Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year award and made the top five finalists for the award in 2004. Mr. Tridico then went on to Youngsville High School and developed their football program which earned their first ever 10 win undefeated season in school history. Mr. Tridico and his staff also was the first full staff from Youngsville to earn the honor of coaching the Pennsylvania Squad in the Don Raabe Big 30 Football All-Star Game in 2010.  Mr. Tridico recently accepted the role of strength and conditioning coach for the Jamestown Express Junior Ice Hockey team.  
During his tenure, Mr. Tridico played a major role in developing the Titusville High School Physical Education Program into a nationally recognized every day physical education program for all students grades 9-12. Mr. Tridico taught physical education and health at Titusville High School for 15 years. Mr. Tridico currently has moved back to the elementary physical education level where he is developing a first-rate physical education program for the Titusville community. Mr. Tridico also has developed a reading intervention program along with Reading Specialist Kathy Adelman, program through kinesthetic awareness and play that addresses student learning and behavior.

Miss VanTine comes to Titusville from Cheswick, PA having graduated from Mercyhurst College with a BA in Art Education.  She is currently finishing up her Master's Degree in Education.  Previously she worked in PIttsburgh with preschool, after school and youth programs.  She completed her student teaching at Elk Valley Elementary and McDowell Intermediate HS.  She will be teaching elementary art at both Pleasantville and Main Street Elementary.

Mr. Vinson graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in December of 1996 and began his teaching career with T.A.S.D. in August of 1997. He is the TASD Music Department Chairman. His teaching load includes all music classes at Main Street Elementary School. He also conducts 5th grade band instrument lessons at Hydetown, Main Street, and Pleasantville. He is also in charge of music direction, set design, and set construction for the T.H.S. musical. He serves on the Main Street SWPBIS (School Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) Team. He also stays active locally as a performer with Carl Olson and Friends, Jazz Lite, Joe’s Sunroom, The Square Roots, and Titusville Summer Theatre.

Miss. Wakefield has been with the school district since August 2014 as a Nurse Technician. She is a native of Titusville and graduated from T.H.S. in 1999. She worked at the Titusville Hospital for 11 years prior to starting at T.H.S. and TMS. She continues to work at Titusville Hospital as well. She enjoys spending her time with her two wonderful children, Kali and Sam.
