As a United Way we have been working to provide this important and valuable service to our region for a number of years.  We are proud to see it become a reality.”

United Way of the Titusville Region is the lead agency responsible for bringing 2-1-1 to Crawford County and provided financial support for eastern Crawford County residents.  Crawford County Human Services stepped up as a partner to fund the western portion of Crawford County.  Forest County also launched 2-1-1 with the help of United Way of the Titusville Region and numerous other agencies “Forest County is very pleased to be able to implement 211 service to area residents.  As we all know, rural community members often encounter significant challenges in identifying and obtaining appropriate services and assistance,” said Terry W. Pease, Jr, Forest County CYS Administrator.   “The county is hopeful that 211 will effectively serve as an easy and effective “point of contact” to area residents, as they initiate their search for needed services.  Moving forward, Forest County partners are committed to provide a comprehensive and accurate list of providers to hopefully enhance the quality of lives of Forest County residents and families”.
