Parents play an important role in a child’s developmental and learning process. Every preschooler is unique, but there are similarities that occur in their growth and development. Please read more about the development of a preschooler, and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Early Intervention

Riverview Intermediate Unit 6 offers early intervention for preschoolers with developmental delays. We provide free vision, hearing, speech/language, cognitive, physical, and emotional services for three, four, and five year olds who qualify. While some children develop more slowly than others, many of these delays can be corrected or improved upon if the child starts at an early age. The earlier a child’s needs are identified, the better the chance that child will reach his or her full potential. The first step is to call for a free developmental screening.
